Australia by Seaplane has been operating from the Port Macquarie Waterfront for the past 4 years. Our team at the Port Macquarie Base consist of Bill Lane (CP/CFI/ATO) and Judy Hodge (Floatplane Pilot/Base Manager).

We are committed to providing our clients with a professional floatplane experience from the moment you step onto our jetty to the moment you leave us… and these aren't just idle words!! Our Chief Pilot Bill Lane has in excess of 30,000 flying hours… over 20,000 of these in floatplanes, without incident. Bill Lane is a CASA Authorised Testing Officer (ATO), Chief Pilot (CP) and Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) and his knowledge of floatplanes is the industry benchmark in Australia.

Our high-wing aircraft enable our clients to enjoy the spectacular and unique perspective that only floatplanes can provide. These Cessna aircraft are maintained in accordance with CASA's high aviation standards to ensure safety and reliability for our clients.

OUR VISION

In 2011, we began expansion of our Port Macquarie operation into Gladstone Qld. This base is primarily focussed on the floatplane transport of clients between the Gladstone/Rockhampton Airport and the surrounding islands.
